Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By using mySiteChart (mysitechart.dk / mysitechart.com) you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, you should not use the site.

2. Description of the service

mySiteChart is a website directory/toplist: users can submit websites for display in a categorized overview, with associated visit counters and badges for embedding on third-party sites.

3. Submitting websites

• You may only submit websites that you own, or that you have the right to submit on behalf of.
• The submitted website must have real, visible content on its front page (the index page) — we do not accept parked domains, "coming soon" pages, or pure advertising/parking banners without real content.
• Content must not be illegal, misleading, spam, or infringe the rights of third parties.
• We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission — including already-approved websites — without prior notice, if we deem it necessary.
• Some submissions are approved automatically based on a technical/AI-assisted assessment; this is not a guarantee of permanent approval and can be revoked upon manual review.

4. Brand and logo restriction

To avoid displaying a brand's logo or other visual brand elements without confirmed permission from the rightful owner, mySiteChart may in certain cases display a neutral placeholder instead of a website's actual logo ("brand restriction"). This is a precautionary measure regarding the use of third-party brand assets — it is not a judgment of that website's content, legitimacy, or approval status otherwise.

If you are the rightful owner of a brand or company whose logo is shown with a placeholder, or if you believe a restriction has been applied incorrectly, you can contact us at contact@mp-it.dk. We will review the request and can remove the restriction if ownership or permission can be confirmed.

5. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You may not share your account with others or impersonate someone else.
• We may close accounts that misuse the service (spam, attempts to manipulate visit counts, illegal content, etc.).
• In case of suspected misuse — including violations of §7's prohibition on traffic manipulation — we assess the situation on a case-by-case basis. Depending on our assessment, this can result in anything from a warning to your account being closed and your submitted websites/links being removed from the directory. We aim to give notice, but reserve the right to act without prior notice if we deem it necessary.

6. Ownership of content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (title, description, images). By submitting, you grant mySiteChart a non-exclusive right to display this content in the directory for as long as your submission is active.

7. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Attempt to circumvent or manipulate traffic counting or the approval process — including, but not limited to: automated "auto-hit" tools or scripts, botnets or other artificial traffic generation, iframe-based or hidden click manipulation, or other methods that generate non-organic incoming/outgoing traffic. Only real, ordinary links and genuine, human traffic count.
• Scrape or automatically collect data from the site at scale without permission.
• Use the site to spread malware, phishing, or other harmful content.
• Submit content on behalf of others without their consent.

8. Disclaimer

A website being listed on mySiteChart is not a recommendation or endorsement of its content by mySiteChart. We are not liable for the content of third-party websites we link to.

The service is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by Danish law.
